The funk song, \"Burn Rubber\" was very energetic and left the listener wanting to dance. Afroman wrote the song about being on the road in the summer, but it could have been any time of the year. \"Little Good News\" was a pop song that sounds like it could have fit on any of Afroman's albums.
The only problem is that Afroman's style isn't just R&B, it is the exact opposite. He mixes in a lot of rock and rap, and it isn't always in a good way. Afroman himself says he likes to \"not be stuck into a box.\" You can hear all of those different elements on this album, making this the most way eclectic Afroman album. With only 100 songs, Afroman managed to add more than enough variety.
The album's opener, \"What a Wonderful World\" was made to be upbeat and playful, while its follow-up \"Don't Mess With Christmas\" had a darker, more meaningful tone. Afroman was toying around with various styles. \"Into the Groove\" was a pop-esque funk song while \"I Believe\" brought back Afroman's hard-rocking style, like on \"Let's Get Dirty\". Afroman's hip-hop influenced \"Penguin In My Pants\" was a nice change of pace from the other songs, and was still hard enough to have some longevity.
Even if you haven't heard Afroman, you know who he is. This is an artist that didn't fit the mold of your typical R&B singer, and his singles didn't fit the mold of typical R&B either. Afroman is just a plain-old R&B singer that competes on the level we all normally expect to hear from an artist. 7211a4ac4a
