Morgan State OL Joshua Miles
Joshua Miles has been a rock on the Morgan State offensive line since his sophomore season. His junior season Morgan lead the MEAC in rushing with the help of their strong offensive line. Miles is the prototype offensive lineman in the NFL, his athleticism mixed with his size allows him to play both guard and Tackle. Miles was invited to the East-West Shrine game to compete with some of the top talent in the draft this year and Miles did not disappoint. Practicing during the week at guard, Miles was able to manhandle interior defensive lineman with his combination of strength and agility during 1 on 1 drills, Miles won all of his 1 on 1’s. During the actual game Miles saw all his action at Tackle and was able again to use his athleticism to and keep up with speedier edge rushers. Throughout the season it was hard not to notice Mile’s aggression and explosion off the ball in the run. Miles has very solid technique and footwork, never gets beaten to the edge. Rarely gets caught leaning and has very long arms. Miles will be an asset wherever he goes, his ability to play both guard and tackle will up his value during the draft process. In my opinion Miles has an opportunity to see time his rookie season. Miles has been described as humble and coachable by his coaches at Morgan State, those are two traits a lot NFL legends say are essential to being great in the league.
