Morgan State Pro Day
Updated: Mar 27, 2019
On Tuesday, March 26th, Morgan State held their annual Pro Day featuring 9 of their seniors from last season headlined by OL Joshua Miles, who looks to be the first Morgan player drafted since TE Visanthe Shiancoe in 2003. Here are my notes from the day:
OL Joshua Miles stood pat at his Combine record for a lineman 36 inch vertical jump and did not participate in broad jumps as well. He did participate in the 40 yard dash, 3-cone, and bench press. Miles ran in the 5.15-5.20 range, put up 18 reps on the bench and had an 8 flat on the 3-cone drill. Miles stock could slightly rise as his numbers in the from the combine to his Pro Day were better especially in the 40 yard dash ( did not do bench press at combine).
LB Damare’ Whitaker impressed running a 4.75 40 yard dash. He jumped well with a 31” vertical and a 9’6” broad jump. A full report will be out soon on Whitaker.
