Coming out of Tuskegee University, Javarrius Cheatham is a big receiver with a large catching radius. Cheatham is an Alshon Jeffery type receiver, he’s not the fastest and he is not the quickest route runner, but he does bring down a lot of 50-50 balls, will still run his routes fluidly and has extremely strong hands. He excels in run blocking, has the ability to wipe a corner out of a play. His 6’4 187 Lbs frame allows him to box defenders out and get the ball at its highest point. In 10 games Cheatham had 36 catches for 644 yards and 7 TDs and also earning All-SIAC Second Team honors. Javarrius Cheatham has all the raw tools to produce on a team. His blocking ability and his ability to go up and get the ball will make him very desirable to teams this spring.
